Health Minister Adham Baba Ordered To Undergo COVID-19 Home Quarantine

COVID-19 knows no race, no religion, no gender, and indeed, no one is safe, including our very own Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba.

The minister has recently revealed that upon the assessment done by the Health Ministry, he has been ordered to undergo House Surveillance Order (HSO) or quarantine until 18 December.

According to his Facebook page, the minister was a close contact of a COVID-19 patient who visited him last Saturday (5 December).

The patient in question is member of the media who came to his office and has officially been tested positive and is symptomatic.

“Until the end of the HSO, I will be working from home and conducting meetings and discussions virtually.”

“No one is exempt from any ruling issued by the authorities, especially if it involves Covid-19 preventive measures.”

“May we all play our part in tackling Covid-19, ” Dr Adham wrote on Facebook.

Adham is also seen wearing the infamous pink wristband while under quarantine.

No news on whether the minister took any COVID-19 tests following the meeting.

Let this be a reminder that COVID-19 is pretty much active and still out there so always remember to stay home as much as possible, wash or sanitise your hands frequently, wear a mask properly, and practise social distancing.
