Preacher Ustaz Ebit Lew is a well-known name in the country thanks to his selfless acts and kind deeds in lending out a helping hand to those in need.

In his latest aid, Ebit arranged for a homeless senior citizen to finally have a roof over his head.

According to a report by Malay Mail quoting Ebit’s Facebook post, he was saddened after coming across a video and pictures of Uncle Yap.

Ebit wrote that Uncle Yap is a person with disabilities who actually gets by by sleeping on his wheelchair.

A difficult life

Uncle Yap has been living on the streets for the past year.

Ebit later arranged for Uncle Yap to be picked up from Taman Intan Baiduri in Kepong and sent to Wan Hing Care Centre at Seri Kembangan.

“He initially refused to follow us saying he did not want to be a burden to anyone.

“Finally, Uncle Yap accepted my invitation,” said Lew, adding that he would pay for Yap’s stay at the home every month.

Ebit also bought Uncle Yap some new clothes and a brand-new wheelchair that allows him to lie down.
