How To Claim RM100 eMADANI Credit From 4 Dec Onwards
In this economy and especially since the year-end holidays usually call for more spending, the RM100 eMADANI credit for Malaysians aged 21 and above earning RM100,000 is a welcome relief. The Federal Government has finally announced the full details of the programme which was first revealed back in July, so read on to know how to claim your credit.
What are the terms for RM100 eMADANI eligibility?
- Must be a Malaysian citizen aged 21 years and above AND
- A Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah recipient OR have a yearly income of RM100,000 and below
When can you claim the RM100 eWallet credit?
Eligible Malaysians can do so beginning 4 December 2023 at 8 am until 20 February 2024 at 11.59 pm. The credit may be used until 29 February 2024. Note that you can only redeem the credit from only ONE e-Wallet provider.
What the credit eMADANI credit CANNOT be used for
Do note that the credit can only be used for physical transactions at 1.8 million vendors/businesses through the eWallet platform. The credit cannot be used for the following:
- Peer-to-peer transfers
- Cash redemption
- Payment of utility bills via any eWallet applications
- Government-related fees integrated with eWallet applications
- Telco postpaid and prepaid bills integrated with eWallet applications
- Purchase of online games integrated with eWallet applications
- Parking or toll payments
- Investment-related activities integrated with eWallet applications
- E-commerce or other online transactions
How do you claim the eMADANI credit?
- Download your preferred e-Wallet application
- Follow the instructions given in the e-Wallet application
- Verify your identity electronically through the ‘Know-Your-Customer’ section
- Input the required details and hit ‘send’
- You will be informed if your application is successful.

At the time of writing, Touch N Go only has this tutorial about how to claim the eMadani credit which is vague and seems to be written for a third party instead of their own ewallet platform. We suspect you'll find an eMADANI icon in the app too eventually, but at the time of writing, even after updating the app, we didn't find the eMADANI icon.
