Have you ever seen a dead person waking up moments before being cremated?

It apparently happened at a village in Baramati, India.

According to a report by Malay Mail quoting a report in India Today, the 76-year-old woman who tested positive for COVID-19, was initially isolated at home before being moved to a hospital.

While waiting for a bed, Shakuntala Gaikwad fell unconscious and stopped breathing - or at least that's what everyone thought.

The walking dead?

Assuming that she had died, her family prepared for her funeral according to the local customs.

While laying on the bier, Shakuntala shocked everyone present when she suddenly opened her eyes and started crying.

The family then quickly rushed her to the Silver Jubilee Hospital in Baramati for further treatment.

What a close call!
