Iconic RTM Sports Commentator Zulkarnain Hassan Dies
Legendary sports commentator Zulkarnain Hassan has passed away at the age of 82.
According to a report by Bernama, Zulkarnain's daughter Zurina confirmed this when speaking to reporters.
She said that her father had complained of chest pains and was eventually admitted to the University Malaya Medical Centre (PPUM).
Zurina said that her father already had an existing heart condition and was eventually placed at the coronary care unit (CCU).
He died at 11.30am on 1 October.
He eventually went on to become the head of RTM Radio's sports division and retired in 1993.
