Indian Border Police Dresses Up In Bear Costumes To Chase Pesky Monkeys Away
There are a lot of people out there who take their jobs really seriously.
But we feel none take their daily work more seriously than the authorities from the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) .
You see, the Indian border police have always had trouble with pesky monkeys, who are always creating a racket and stealing stuff.
To combat that, they came up with a brilliant idea: become a bear.
According to a report by Unilad, several border patrol officers were caught on camera donning black bear costumes in hopes of scaring away the pesky monkeys.
Beary clever

In the video, the two ITBP personnel were seen inching slowly towards a group of macaques, which had taken over the landscape around the Mirthi ITBP camp on the border with Tibet, in Indian’s Eastern Uttarakhand province.
The second the macaques spotted the ‘bears’, they darted off the opposite direction and the area cleared quickly.

“#ITBP jawans found a unique way to scare monkeys in #Uttrakhand They dressed like jungle bears ! See how monkeys ran away in seconds @ITBP_official ,” she wrote.
