Ismail Sabri Is The New Malaysian Prime Minister, To Be Sworn In Tomorrow
Ismail Sabri has been appointed as the 9th Prime Minister of Malaysia.
This came after the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, had a conference with the other Rulers on Friday (20 August).
The appointment was confirmed by Comptroller of the Royal Household, Datuk Indera Ahmad Fadil Shamsuddin, via a press release:

Ismail is expected to be sworn in as the Prime Minister on Saturday (21 August) at 2.30pm, according to the press release.
Ismail will take over the reigns from former PM Muhyiddin Yassin, who resigned on Monday (16 August).
