It’s Real, People: The Indestructible Nokia 3310 Is Back!
Finland’s HMD Global has, on Sunday, officially announced the brand new (but still same same) Nokia 3310 – arguably the most popular mobile device in the 2000s.
Despite boasting tonnes of features under the hood, the new 3310 managed to retain the iconic phone’s overall design and according to The Guardian, it runs on an updated version of the original’s S30 software.
The new 3310 - built with a 2.4-inch QVGA display and a polarised layer for better readability under the sun - has a meagre 16MB of internal memory, but thankfully, it supports microSD cards with capacity of up to 32GB.

Unlike its predecessor, the new model is equipped with a 2-megapixel camera and a LED flash. It also supports 2G, which means that you could log on to Facebook, Instagram or Snapchat, but don’t expect it to be super fast because, well, 2G.
But here’s the most important bit: the new Nokia 3310 can survive up to a month on standby on a single charge, or roughly 22 hours of talk time. Beat that, iPhone!

And best of all: the 2017 model has the classic time-wasting game Snake installed, so your daily commute to work will never be the same again.
According to Lowyat.net, the new Nokia 3310 will be available in Q2 of this year for just €49 (RM230), so start saving up if you want to relive your childhood.
