The Yang di-Pertuan Agong reportedly accepted his resignation, but promptly appointed Tun as the interim Prime Minister for the time being.
The political landscape in Malaysia is still in turmoil and the King has ordered for all 220 MPs to attend a one-on-one interview with him in hopes of finding a solution.
Istana Negara is currently very busy with MPs coming in and out of the palace but for Tun Mahathir, it’s business as usual.
