Kelantan Street Turns Into an Attraction With Food Stalls, Crowd Gathers Despite Knee-Level Water
It is known that currently, various regions in Malaysia are facing bad flooding situations. However, it seems that a street in Kelantan has become sort of a ‘festival’ with plenty of food stalls despite the water level not having subsided fully.

In a video that was shared by BERNAMA TV on X, a street near Tambatan D'Raja in Kota Bharu looked ‘alive’ with food stalls.

The same video also stated the food stalls were accommodating the crowds that had gathered to ‘check out’ the water level in Sungai Kelantan.

In the 30-second video, the crowd seems unbothered by the flood water despite it reaching knee height. Some individuals including kids could also be seen swimming in the water.

A similar case of people who seem to be enjoying the flood water had also gone viral before. Previously, a video had been uploaded on TikTok showcasing residents swimming and playing in the flood waters with the caption: “Kota Bharu waterpark.”

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health (KKM) took to X with an infographic to urge the people to avoid playing in the flood.

“Avoid playing in the flood water especially if you have any cuts or skin problems to avoid the risk of contracting leptospirosis and meloidosis which spreads through contaminated flood water,” captioned the infographic.
