KL 2017 SEA Games So Far: Malaysia Takes Home 7 Gold Medals In Total
It seems that the home advantage that our athletes have are coming into effect so far. Our Malaysian contingent had a strong start at the KL 2017 Sea Games after the sepak takraw team took home the first gold medal in the chinlone category.
As of Thursday night, Malaysia is the overall leader in the medal standings with four golds, three silvers, and three bronze medals followed by Indonesia and Myanmar.

It’s not even noon yet but we’ve managed to clinch three more gold medals, thanks to open water swimming and archery.
The first gold of the day was contributed by Kevin Yeap in the men's 10km open water swimming event while Heidi Gan won the second gold in the women’s category, as reported by The Star.
The archery team continued their amazing feat after a very solid performance on Thursday by contributing another gold on Friday via the mixed team compound category.
