Everybody hates our weather, if a recent survey was any indication.

Deutsche Bank recently released their 'Mapping the World’s Price 2017' survey - which studied the quality of life in 47 countries - and our capital city Kuala Lumpur came in second last in the list.

According to a report by Malay Mail Online, the bustling city fell 14 spots in this year's ranking, as they're now officially ranked lower than Jakarta, Indonesia and Mumbai, India.

The most common complaint about the city was the climate, which was ranked dead last in the survey.

However, Kuala Lumpur didn't do particularly well in other areas of the survey too; it ranked 43rd in terms of safety, 38th for pollution and 39th for healthcare.

Oh and also, the survey found that residents of the city are 13 per cent poorer than last year, as their average salary dropped to US$987 (RM4,277) per month. KLites were reportedly earning an average of US$1,136 (RM4,924) last year.

But it wasn't all death and gloom for KL though; the city made it to the eight spot in the cost of living category, making it one of the cheapest countries to live in.

In case you were wondering, Wellington, New Zealand topped the survey while Manila, Philippines came in last.

Well, if it's any consolation, at least we're ranked number one in Asia for having the most active daily Waze users.

That counts for something, right?
