The Daily Mail UK reported that the racing star dedicated his victory at the Spanish Grand Prix last weekend to Harry Shaw, a five-year-old boy with a rare form of terminal bone cancer.
Not only that, in an amazing gesture, Hamilton’s Mercedes team also arranged to have one of their old F1 cars to be parked outside Harry’s home so that he can take a closer look at it.
Aww, how sweet!
Not just that, Team Mercedes also presented Harry with Hamilton’s winning trophy from the race in Barcelona, and a pair of his racing gloves.
Hamilton had been alerted to Harry's tragic plight after Mercedes showed a video of support from the youngster, sent to them by his family, ahead of last Sunday's race.
The 34-year-old racer said after the race: "Today, I was just super-inspired by this kid that sent me a message. He was my spirit angel."
