Remember when some of us used to sing and our family or friends would jokingly ask us to stop before it rains?

And did you notice that sometimes, things that people joke about can become a reality?

That was the case for this one young man from Sungai Buloh.

Thor has spoken.
Fikri Nordin, an ‘aspiring’ singer, received a loud and clear message from Mother Nature that he shouldn’t consider singing as a profession.

In a hilarious nine-second video uploaded on Twitter last Saturday (6 July), Fikri had just started singing the first line of the song "Fall for You" by US rock band Secondhand Serenade, when two flashes of lightning followed by a loud crash of thunder stopped him midway.

To add to the dramatic effects, the lights in his house also went out.

You can watch the hilarious scene unfold here:

The video captioned “Dear God, please forgive the sins of this slave” went viral on the social media site, with close to 40,000 retweets and 27,000 likes.

Of course, Malaysian Netizens were not going to let him forget his misfortune any time soon:

Well, looks like Fikri might need to consider other fields of occupation as apparently, the Gods have spoken.
