These could be some lines included in your resume to this Malaysian company looking for a Sleep Executive.

The perfect job

"Are you a hibernator, who can instantly doze off into your own private underground chamber and mute the world's noise? Or, are you born with magnetic sleeping genes to be naturally attracted to the bed? ?," stated Sonno in their job advert.

They go to say that they are looking for a "hibernating snoozer" to help test out their mattress.

"The ideal candidate needs to be social media savvy with a deep burning passion for sleep. ?," they said.


Sounds like the perfect job kan but unfortunately the mattress company is only looking for one candidate.

Speaking to Rojak Daily, Sonno founder Fabio Miceli said that Sleeping Executive would carry out their duties at home.

"The person will be provided with a brand new Sonno Lite mattress and pillow which will be theirs to keep," he said adding that the person would only have to test one mattress of their preferred size during the period.

Fabio said all Malaysians from accross the country were welcome to apply and there was no age limit for the applicants as well.

"They will be required to sleep for 8 hours at night for 100 nights and at the end of it they will be paid RM3,000," he said.

The mission if you accept

The Sleep Executive will not only be sleeping though, you will also required to provide data, track dreams, write reports and record and documents your sleep journey via two 30-second videos every week.
