Fed up of fruitless searches for a partner, a man from Marang, Terengganu, decided to ‘advertise’ himself by putting up banners there.

According to a report by Malay Mail, Noor Aziro bin Abdullah put up two strategically placed banners in Dungun, Terengganu.

One was hung in the town area while the other at Pantai Teluk Bidara.

A bold move

Stop! (and call me) in the name of love!

The banner, which starts with a polite “Assalamualaikum” then continues with a bracketed sentence stating that he was looking to find a partner.

The banner also included his name, age, occupation, contact number and a large image of himself.

The 35-year-old said he had previously tried looking for a wife using social media but had given up due to stiff competition.

“So I decided to put up a banner of myself, hoping that anyone from the nearby villages would be interested,” he told Malay Mail.

Looking for a life partner is not easy

Calls start coming in

Noor Aziro said he received numerous calls following up on the advertisement with most asking if it was valid.

“I’ve received calls from Kedah, KL, Selangor and even Kuantan.

“There’s even a caller from Penang complimenting me about my method of finding a wife and the originality of the idea,” he said.

The banner was also posted on Twitter by a user under the handle @lati0s , boosting his chances even more.

So, what do you think girls? Would you give Aziro a shot? If OK, call lah.
