We've all heard stories about peeping toms, and the victims are often women. However, one Malaysian man recently found himself in an unsettling situation after discovering that someone was peeping on him while he was using a toilet.
In an incident that was caught on camera, the man, known only by his username @ehhhnasss, said he was using a public toilet on the second floor of a residential area in Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam.

Shortly after entering the stall, he began feeling uneasy when he noticed shadows and heard unusual noises outside. Curious about what was happening, he took out his phone and pointed it towards the floor. To his shock, he captured footage of another man lying close to the ground and peering underneath the stall door.
According to the man, he immediately began kicking the partition wall after realising someone was spying on him. However, by the time he exited the cubicle, the suspect had already left the scene.
While the individual's identity remains unknown, the victim alleged that the peeping tom was a foreign national.
Needless to say, the incident left many social media users disturbed, with some urging the public to remain vigilant regardless of gender.
"This is scary. My hands and feet immediately felt cold. Thankfully, he didn't climb over from above."
"This is scarier than a ghost," said another user.

Peeping could land offenders in jail
A similar incident took place in April this year when a food shop assistant was caught peeping on a woman inside a toilet cubicle at the Sentul LRT station.
The offender, Abdul Samad Rosman, 23, was charged under Section 509 of the Penal Code, which carries a maximum penalty of five years' imprisonment, a fine, or both upon conviction.
He later pleaded guilty to insulting the modesty of the 44-year-old victim. Magistrate Aina Azahra Arifin subsequently fined him RM3,500, with a four-month jail term in default of payment.
