Malaysians are livid and where else would they go to vent but social media?

#KlusterMenteri was already trending on Twitter since the recent spike in COVID-19 cases, and Malaysians anger at politicians who seem to flaunt SOPs like they are above the laws of the country and nature seem justified with Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs) Datuk Dr Zulkifli Mohamad Al-Bakri testing positive.

Images from a recent cabinet meeting discussing the spike in COVID-19 cases has also got people questioning about the adherence to SOPs by politicians as many, including Dr Zulkifli, were seen without masks or wearing their masks incorrectly.

Let's not even talk about physical distancing coz... what's that?

Who's going to hold them accountable?

We found plenty of comments on the issue on social media today but livid Malaysians are not polite Malaysians, so here are some PG13 tweets that we found expressed the general sentiments.

Sure, people are angry. But Malaysians have been angry at politicians at least since August when Plantation, Industries and Commodities Minister Khairuddin Aman Razali got away with traveling overseas and not going through the quarantine process.

Since then, many have called out people in power for not adhering to SOPs set by them but we are yet to see any consequences to their actions.

What can we expect now?
