Malaysia’s Tallest Building Set For Completion In 2018 And Will Beat Out KLCC
Everyone knows the Petronas Twin Towers or also known as KLCC is the tallest building in Malaysia. But soon, that title will be snatched by another up-and-coming new building that’s expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2018.

The building named The Exchange 106 will be located at the Tun Razak Exchange (TRX), which is the new International Financial District in Kuala Lumpur.

According to the New Straits Times, the building is now still under construction and is already close to surpassing the Petronas Twin Towers. The Exchange 106 is now 450 metres above ground while the Twin Towers is 451.9 metres tall.

Upon completion, the tallest building in Malaysia will have the height of 492.3 metres tall! Apart from Malaysia, it will also be the tallest building in Southeast Asia and among the top 15 tallest buildings in the world.

Wow, this building will definitely be Malaysia’s next biggest attraction!

Wah so cool ah the crown.

The towering structure will feature 106 floors – as its name suggests and eight basement levels. Since The Exchange 106 will steal the Petronas Twin Tower’s crown, it’ll also have its own crown literally – the top of the building will have an impressive glass crown which will be illuminated with LED lights.

The Exchange 106 won’t be able to hold the “tallest building in Malaysia” title for long though, as another building is going to snatch its crown – the Merdeka 118 PNB which will have 118 floors and is over 600 metres tall. It will also become the fifth tallest building in the world. The PNB building is slated for completion in 2019.
