"Through Kau Ilhamku 2020, I try to honour the song that had made my name back then. By giving it a new lease of life with a more striking arrangement, the tune unfolds in an even more dignified and beautiful manner.
"In line with its meaning which is to elevate someone who is the source of inspiration, I too want to lift the song up to a higher degree.
"I hope that through this new interpretation, the song will remain relevant and timeless," the 52-year-old singer said in a statement as quoted in the report.
Man Bai also said that he dedicates the song to ‘all of the creative people who have brought colour and meaning to the world of music with their various great works’.
