Man Caught Taking Upskirt Photos of Woman In Cheras MRT, Gets Confronted by Her Husband
Previously, a video of a young Chinese man went viral after he was apprehended by pedestrians in Bukit Bintang for allegedly taking upskirt videos of women.
Now, a similar incident has surfaced. A new video on TikTok shows a Malay man allegedly caught taking upskirt photos of a woman in an MRT train.
According to the video, the woman known by her username @Shuqi97 was travelling with her son and husband. Based on the hashtags in the caption, the incident is believed to have occurred at Taman Pertama MRT station in Cheras.
The suspect tried to defend himself
After the victim’s husband discovered incriminating evidence on the suspect’s phone, he immediately called the police. In the video, the suspect can be seen attempting to stop the husband from leaving.

He then tried to defend himself, claiming he was recording the environment and that the victim’s underskirt was captured “accidentally.”
It is understood that MRT CCTV footage was reviewed, and a police report has since been filed by the victim.
Netizens react
Unsurprisingly, the video has drawn significant attention online. While many condemned the suspect’s actions, others praised the victim’s husband for staying calm and handling the situation responsibly.
“The other day it was a Chinese guy who did the same thing. He also looks young. What’s happening with the youngsters these days?”

“The husband is still keeping calm. If it were someone else, the suspect might’ve been beaten—it involves his wife, after all,” commented a user.
