Maybank Website, Apps Including MAE Are Currently Down Leaving Netizens Fuming

Are you trying to log into the Maybank2U website, app or even the new MAE app but ended up failing after multiple tries?

Well, it seems that many others are experiencing the same problem as well.

Over on Twitter, netizens are sharing their nightmares accessing the app or website as an error message keeps on popping up with some even not getting past the log in page.

Service Interruption Intterupted Malaysians’ Day

Malaysians trying to sort their banking needs had their morning ruined when Maybank confirmed that they are currently experiencing some intermittent service interruptions.

Although no official statement has been put out, Maybank has replied to customers’ queries on social media by giving them the same reason behind the on-going issue.

The service interruption has affected the Maybank2U website and its apps.

Hi, any inconvenience is much regretted. Please be informed that we are experiencing intermittent service interruptions for Maybank Apps and Maybank2u website access at the moment. (1/2)

Following the system disruption, netizens were fuming and even likened the bank to another bank who’s known for its problematic app – CIMB.
