Over on Twitter, netizens are sharing their nightmares accessing the app or website as an error message keeps on popping up with some even not getting past the log in page.

Malaysians trying to sort their banking needs had their morning ruined when Maybank confirmed that they are currently experiencing some intermittent service interruptions.

Although no official statement has been put out, Maybank has replied to customers’ queries on social media by giving them the same reason behind the on-going issue.

The service interruption has affected the Maybank2U website and its apps.

Following the system disruption, netizens were fuming and even likened the bank to another bank who’s known for its problematic app – CIMB.

Maybank is curently working closely to rectify the issue so let’s hope that both the app and website will be up and running soon.
