MCO 2.0: You Can Now Dine At Restaurants, Go Shopping And More In Revised Ruling
Sometimes we sit down and we wonder: are we still under lockdown?
While technically we are, there are signs that say we are not.
In yet another update to the ever-changing Movement Control Order (MCO) guideline, the government has decided that it is OK for us to dine-in at restaurants and shop till we drop beginning 9 February 2021.

In yet another update to the ever-changing Movement Control Order (MCO) guideline, the government has decided that it is OK for us to dine-in at restaurants and shop till we drop beginning 9 February 2021.However, only two people are allowed to sit on a table at a time and one-metre distance has to be maintained.
Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob made the announcement during a press conference on Tuesday (9 February) and said "strict adherence to SOP" is required.
We're not quite sure what's "standard" about the Standard Operating procedure (SOP) during this MCO, but we guess it includes wearing of masks and sanitising besides registering using the MySejahtera app wherever we go.

We guess you can now book a whole restaurant for reunion dinner.
You'll just have to sit at separate tables and shout to be heard by everyone but could be a fun experience.
All retail businesses can start operations
During the press conference, the minister also said that all retail businesses such as those selling clothes, shoes, accessories, toys, nurseries (the kind that sells plants) and more will be allowed to resume operations.The creative industry is also allowed to start operating but with limitations.
Shoots are only allowed in studios without an audience, and all other activities such as animation, recordings of music, and pre and post-production work have to be done indoors and following SOPs.

Inter-state travel is still banned and the government is making it compulsory for those living in areas with strong internet connection to use the MySejahtera app.
