On Tuesday (4 May), the government has announced that the movement control order (MCO) will be implemented - again! - in six districts in Selangor:
With a new MCO announcement, you can probably guess what's coming next.

You can only tapau

In line with the new MCO, which will take effect on Thursday (6 May), the government has announced that dine-ins are not allowed at restaurants located in the six MCO districts.
Senior Minister (Defence) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob told Malay Mail that under the standard operating procedures set by the National Security Council, restaurants in MCO areas are only allowed to fulfil takeaway or delivery orders.
Ismail Sabri added that the SOPs for those six districts would be similar to those in under states with no changes, except that the rules have been tightened.
Take note of the new (old) changes, guys!
“Just like in other states, the SOPs for MCO in these six districts are the same that is happening in Kelantan and several districts in Kedah.
“For example food trucks and kiosks and restaurants can open till 12am but not till sahur,” he was quoted as saying.
However, Ismail Sabri clarified that the SOPs will not affect similar outlets in Kuala Lumpur, which will continue to remain under the conditional MCO.
The six districts in Selangor that have been placed under the MCO are Petaling, Hulu Langat, Klang, Gombak, Sepang and Kuala Langat.
So, if you're residing in any of these six disctricts, please tapau your food from now on, OK?
