Many men around the world have been spotting the dishevelled caveman look recently.

Why?

It’s because most barbers are still not allowed to operate due to COVID-19 fears.

Desperate, some have been turning to their girlfriends or wives for help and the results are pretty — how do we put this — "interesting".

According to a report in Unilad, internet searches for ‘How to cut your own hair’ have spiked during the stay at home period.

Despite doing online research, the results seem to be less than desirable.

One Twitter user, Daniel, let his partner Sophie attempt a skin fade on his hair.

A fade is basically a cut that gradually changes from short to the bottom to longer on top.

Another man, known only as Jake, showed a picture of how he wanted his hair to look like, to his girlfriend.

He wanted to keep his hair short at the back and sides and longer on top, but his girlfriend shaved a solid line around the bottom of his hair.
