M'sia Ranked 10th Most Dangerous Country to Drive In Worldwide, 2nd in Southeast Asia

As a Malaysian, you might think driving in your own country is easy, especially since you're familiar with the laws and roads. But for a foreigner, navigating our streets can prove to be quite challenging. Perhaps that’s why Malaysia has been ranked the 2nd scariest country to drive in Southeast Asia.

In a global survey, over 2,000 motorists were asked to rate how nervous they’d feel driving in different countries on a scale from 1 (not nervous at all) to 10 (extremely nervous).

The results revealed the top 25 scariest countries to drive in. Based on the findings, only Thailand (5th) and Malaysia (10th) were Southeast Asian countries that made it into the top 10.

Other Southeast Asian countries included in the list were Vietnam (13th) and Singapore (17th).

The survey also highlighted the top 10 concerns drivers have when driving abroad. At the top of the list was driving on the opposite side of the road, which was cited as the main cause of stress.
