M'sia Ranked Among the 25 Smartest Countries in the World, 3rd Best in Southeast Asia
If previously Malaysiaed as the third richest country in Southeast Asia, our country once again managed to snag the same spot for the smartest country in Southeast Asia.
In the latest data released by the International IQ Test, Malaysia placed third smartest country in Southeast Asia with an average IQ score of 100.48, just two spots behind Singapore (105.14).
Malaysia's IQ score is the result of over 19,000 participants, placing the nation well above the global benchmark of 100. However, this figure is heavily influenced by China, which not only has a large population but also an impressively high average IQ of 107.19.
Meanwhile, the second smartest country in Southeast Asia falls to Thailand, with an average IQ score of 101.52.
Malaysia's average IQ score also landed the country in the 10th spot across Asia and 22nd globally.
