A Malaysian actress known for her roles in Syaitan Munafik and Kudeta has been reported missing after arriving at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah.

According to reports, the actress, Nadia Kesuma, was scheduled to board a connecting flight to London. However, the travel agency later informed authorities that she never boarded the plane, and her mobile phones are currently unreachable.

According to Nadia’s close friend, Anne Abdullah, who also serves as president of Gagasan Transformasi Anak Seni (GTAS), Nadia had departed on the night of 15 January for a special Umrah and sightseeing package that included a visit to London.

"I met a stranger.”

It is understood that before Nadia became uncontactable, she managed to send a final message to her husband saying, “I met a stranger.”

“There has been no news since. While messages sent to both of her phones are marked as ‘delivered’, she has yet to respond,” Anne said.

It remains unclear whether Nadia is still in Jeddah or has travelled elsewhere. Records confirmed that the actress did arrive in the Saudi city, but she failed to check in for the London leg of her journey.

Anne added that she was initially shocked upon receiving news of Nadia’s disappearance from her husband, as she had been under the impression that the couple were travelling together.

It was later clarified that Nadia had embarked on a solo trip under a popular Umrah ziarah package, which includes destinations such as Jeddah, Makkah, Paris and London.

A police report is expected to be lodged as soon as possible to expedite the search for the actress.
