M'sian Amuses Netizens After Replacing Car Seat with Camping Chair
A man in Johor Bahru recently caught attention online after a video of him driving his car while sitting on a camping chair went viral.
In a TikTok video that has since garnered over two million views, the young man known by his username, Abel was seen driving a Perodua car that was not only missing its driver’s seat but also several other interior components, including the flooring.
But what really took the cake was how relaxed Abel looked as he drove the car while sitting on the camping chair, as if it were the most normal thing in the world.

It turns out the car wasn’t modified for fun as it’s currently undergoing a deep cleaning process.
Following the viral incident, Abel posted a follow-up video explaining what was actually going on behind the scenes.
While some social media users speculated that Abel had intentionally modified his car for content, he clarified that the car had been flooded and was being stripped down for a thorough cleaning.
In the follow-up video, Abel showed how the car’s floor had been filled with water, which his girlfriend had to scoop out using a water bottle.

The car had to be completely stripped to allow for deep cleaning. Abel placed the camping chair in the driver’s seat position just so he could take the car for a short spin around the neighborhood.
