M’sian Boy Gifts Teacher RM32.5k Jewellery as Farewell Gift

During the last day of school, we might’ve presented our favourite teachers with flowers or a handmade card. But four-year-old Ali’s had a luxurious surprise in store for his teacher as he presented her with an extravagant farewell gift bearing an astonishing RM32,490 price tag from the jewellery brand Habib.

In a TikTok video posted by @farahwen, the boy was seen exiting a fancy Lexus LM while being greeted by three (yes, count ‘em) helpers dressed in formal attire at home.

The video then panned to Ali at what is presumed to be an international school during his last day at school. He said goodbye to his best friend, seniors, and then as the caption said, the “saddest part, saying goodbye to his teacher.”

Ali was seen hugging his teacher and presenting her with a gorgeous bouquet of flowers. However, it was revealed that the best part was yet to come as they had prepared the surprise for her as “he learnt so much this year because of you.”

Ali, who was wearing a Dior backpack, was seen carrying two Dior paper bags (which were presumably for other teachers) and a Habib paper bag, which was given to his delighted teacher. The video has garnered 1.6M views as of the time of writing.

A gobsmacked netizen commented, “Does RM32k seem like RM32 only?”. Another said, “I have changed my ambition to be a teacher of an international or private school.” Others also expressed their wish to be Ali’s teacher.

In another video, Farah revealed ‘A Day in My life’ of 4-year-old Ali where his shoe collection is shown (probably worth more than what is the average Malaysian’s savings account), he is picked up by his mother from his Kumon class in a gleaming red Ferrari, and of him playing go-kart at home in a Lamborghini version which retails at RM9.2k.

Farah Wen, a businesswoman and a TikTok influencer, also previously went viral in April after she shared a video of her how she gifted her helpers RM10k in cash each for Raya. She also flew them via helicopter to an island for a short getaway, where they were each given a private suite.
