M'sian Form 3 Student Gets Bullied by Classmate After Refusing to Share Exam Answers
The topic of bullying has been trending lately—and not for a good reason. While the nation is still demanding answers in the case of Zara Qairina, a student who tragically passed away following an alleged bullying incident, another student appears to be facing a similar ordeal.
As reported by Sinar Harian, the father of a 15-year-old female student claimed that his daughter had been bullied by a classmate.
Mohd Anas Sudin said the harassment began shortly after an incident during an examination.

According to him, the classmate had been calling his daughter “kacip” simply because she refused to let them copy her exam answers.
Initially, Mohd Anas didn’t understand why his daughter was adamant about not going to school and kept requesting a transfer. After urging her to speak up, she finally revealed the harassment she had been experiencing.
Mohd Anas said his daughter had reported the issue to a disciplinary teacher, but the bullying continued. He suspected that the teacher may have dismissed it as “just kids being kids,” without recognising the emotional toll it had taken on her.
“After discussing with my wife, we decided to transfer our daughter to another school. However, the lack of cooperation from the school who claimed the headmaster was unavailable, has delayed the process,” he said.
A police report was eventually lodged, and his daughter was finally able to transfer to a new school

According to Mohd Anas, his daughter has shown positive improvement since the move.
“When the Zara Qairina case went viral, I thought of my daughter. Although she was only a victim of emotional bullying, I’m glad I intervened before it was too late.”
Malaysian students now required to chant ‘We Hate Bullying’
In related news, students across the country are now required to chant “We Hate Bullying” before and after school as part of a nationwide initiative to combat bullying.
As reported by Kosmo!, Director-General of Education Dr Mohd Azam Ahmad said the initiative aims to “rebuild students’ mentality and psychology, and create a safe school environment.”

“All principals and headmasters must ensure that pupils chant ‘Kami benci buli’ (We hate bullying) before entering class and again before school ends. This is a war we’ve declared against the bullying culture,” he said.
Additionally, the Ministry of Education will conduct safety audits at all schools, including increasing the number of wardens in hostels, installing CCTV cameras at strategic locations, and strengthening existing safety procedures.
