Imagine spending nearly RM34 on two pasta dishes and paying an additional RM10 for a grilled chicken add-on, only to discover that the grilled chicken consisted of tiny pieces.
That’s exactly what happened to a Malaysian who ordered a meal for two from a local restaurant.

Sharing his experience on TikTok, the man known only by his username @maemaek_, posted a GrabFood receipt showing his order: a Mushroom Carbonara for RM17.30 and an Aglio E Olio for RM16.30.

According to the receipt, he had also added eight pieces of grilled chicken to both dishes for an extra RM10, bringing the total to RM43.60.
However, when the food arrived, he was disappointed to find that the eight pieces of grilled chicken were extremely tiny.
“How can you sell RM5 chicken of this size? Next time, please include photo references so customers won’t misunderstand. If I had known, I wouldn’t have wasted money on the add-on,” he wrote in the caption.
“It looks like meat in my cat’s food.”
Many social media users were stunned by the size of the grilled chicken and urged him to report the issue. Others compared it to pet booster food or the RM1 chicken commonly sold by roadside vendors.
“They should have called it ‘Chicken Cubes’.”

One user said, “You paid RM43, but what you got looks like cat kibbles. That’s crazy!”

“I thought an add-on meant slices of grilled chicken. I’d be fuming too if this happened to me,” commented another.
