Msian Model Ridzman Zidaine Opens Paris Fashion Week for Louis Vuitton
Last year, Malaysian fashion label Rizman Ruzaini made waves when fashion supermodel legend Naomi Campbell closed their Dubai Fashion Week show. Now, Malaysian model Ridzman Zidaine has made our country proud again by opening the Men’s Fall Winter 2024 show at Paris Fashion Week for luxury brand Louis Vuitton.
He had the honour of being the first to walk down the runway and showcase the designer’s clothing collection. The prestigious position is usually reserved for a top or well-known model as it sets the tone and style for the entire show. This show made waves in particular as Pharrell Williams was the men’s creative director and showcased an American Western theme which Ridzman pulled off with aplomb.
Only last month, Ridzman made history as the first Malaysian ever to walk the runway for Louis Vuitton, for the Men’s Pre-Fall 2024 collection which was also designed by Pharrell Williams.
Guests in attendance included huge names such as Bradley Cooper, Jackson Wang, RIIZE, BamBam, Sho Irano, Dylan Wang, JJ Lin, among many other celebrities.
He was also the first Malaysian model ever to be featured at the 2022 Paris Fashion Week. Standing at 186cm tall and with cheekbones to die for, Ridzman is no stranger to modelling for big fashion houses, having walked the runway for Hermes, Ermenegildo Zegna, Homme Plissé Issey Miyake, and more.
