One simple act of kindness may seem small to those who don’t need it, but for those who do, it can mean the world.

Recently, a Malaysian woman warmed the hearts of many after sharing her encounter with a blind elderly stranger at KL Sentral.

In a TikTok video, the woman known by her username @__nursyahadah, came across Uncle Thomas during rush hour. She approached him and learned that he wanted to go to Wangsa Maju station, which wasn’t on her route home.

Concerned about how Uncle Thomas would navigate public transport during such a crowded time, Nur Syahadah decided to board the same train to ensure his safety.

At the end of the video, she even hailed a cab and made sure he got into the vehicle safely. According to the video caption, Nur Syahadah had to travel across 18 stations before heading back to her own home.

Despite the distance, she shared that she hoped her video would raise awareness about the importance of being kind to others, regardless of their condition and reminded viewers to treat others the way they themselves would want to be treated.

Needless to say, her act of kindness garnered widespread attention. While some users shared their own experiences helping strangers, many praised Nur Syahadah for her selfless gesture.
