M'sian Security Guard Picks Fight with MMA Fighter Without Knowing, Gets Knocked Out

In a video that has since gone viral, a man wearing a black shirt is seen provoking another man dressed in a pink tank top. The man in black, believed to be a security guard, is heard repeatedly shouting at the other man to hit him. He also calls him a “sissy” and even points a middle finger at his face.

Unbeknownst to the security guard, the other man turns out to be amateur MMA fighter Tony Lim.

In the video, a woman can be seen trying to calm the security guard, but to no avail. Instead, he begins kicking Tony, leading to a scuffle between the two.

Tony easily pins the security guard to the ground before another guard, wearing a vest, attempts to break them apart. However, the man refuses to back down and continues provoking Tony for another round.

This time, Tony lands a swift blow directly to the security guard’s face, knocking him backward and causing him to hit his head on a metal pole.

According to a report by MSNews, Tony claimed that the security guard had physically assaulted another resident a few days prior, an incident Tony had recorded.

Possibly upset that his actions were caught on camera, the guard allegedly threatened Tony, which eventually led to the fight.

Tony explained that he had no intention of getting physical and had wanted to resolve the issue peacefully. However, the security guard continued to provoke him.

“I do not encourage and do not recommend street fights at all. But when it comes to a time when you have to defend yourself, then you have to defend yourself.”
