M’sian Squash Legend Datuk Nicol David Inducted Into PSA Hall Of Fame
Unless you've been living under a rock, you must have heard of the name Datuk Nicol Ann David. The now-retired squash player once held the title of World No. 1 for nine consecutive years from 2006 to 2015. Not only that, she was also voted World Games’ Greatest Athlete of All Time in 2021.
On 2nd December, it was reported that Nicol had been inducted into the Professional Squash Association (PSA) Hall of Fame in Hong Kong.

According to BERNAMA, Nicol is only the third member of the PSA Hall of Fame. It was reported that the Hall of Fame was launched earlier this year to recognise the achievements of the sport's most influential figures, both past and present.
Also inducted in the same ceremony was Jansher Khan, a Pakistani squash legend.
In a post on her Instagram account, Nicol dedicated the achievement to her parents, her coach Liz Irving, her support team and Malaysia.
“Today is a very meaningful day. I was reflecting on this honour for the last few weeks and what it means to me and I think this officially shows me that I made history, which is something I always struggle to believe,” she wrote.
In the same post, Nicol also said that her biggest mission now is supporting children, families and communities in Malaysia through her foundation, the Nicol David Organisation.
