M'sian Tries to Sell Used Sofa for RM288 on Facebook, Gets Roasted Over Its Condition Instead
A Malaysian social media user recently took to Facebook to try and sell a used sofa set for RM288. Although the price might seem like a bargain, it was the condition of the sofas that caught the attention of other users.
The listing was posted in a Facebook group on June 21. According to the post, the seller claimed they were letting the sofa set go at a low price because they were moving out. The seller also mentioned that the sofas were their favourite and encouraged others to call if they were interested in buying.
However, based on the photos shared, the sofa set appeared to be badly worn with sagging cushions, faded fabric, and suspicious stains.

Upon seeing the listing, netizens wasted no time cracking jokes about the sofa’s condition in the comments section. Many joked that the sofas looked like they came straight out of a horror film, while others said they should be given away for free considering their state.
One user commented, “Not even my dog would want to sit on this sofa.”

“Even if you give it to me for free, I won't take it,” said a user.
