“Superheroes’ have come out to play their part during the Movement Control Order (MCO) period.

In Kelantan, a group of workers from a food stall in Kampung Kota have been donning costumes resembling Spider-Man, Black Panther, the Flash and Kamen Rider as they provide their cash on delivery (COD) services.

According to a report by New Straits Times, quoting Warong Poksu Superhero owner Mohd Fakri Rabys, he got the idea after thinking of alternative ways to earn income during the MCO period.

The 35-year-old also wanted to bring cheer and provide “entertainment” to people who are stressed out during the MCO period.

Hence, the heroic idea was born.

"When ‘Warong Poksu Superhero’ was closed at the start of the MCO, I came up with an idea for COD services to supply rice, eggs, vegetables and other produce.

Batman, at your service.
"I own about 25 superhero costumes. I’ve decided to use them to earn some income. I want to be different from other delivery services. Every day, I’d wear a different suit such as Spiderman, Batman, the Flash, Black Panther and Bumblebee from Transformers when making deliveries,” he said.

Mohd Fakri also makes sure he follows proper hygiene and social distancing procedures during his deliveries.

Well, we wish some “superhero” can deliver groceries to us!
