NASA Introduces New One-Size-Fits-All Space Suits
Thanks to a new type of space suits, astronauts can now walk on the Moon like how they walk on Earth, instead of bouncing or floating up and down as we normally see them do.
AFP reported that prototypes of the new Orion Crew Survival Suit will be worn on the journey and the Exploration Extravehicular Mobility Unit (xEMU) for the lunar surface.
The suits were unveiled at NASA's Washington headquarters ahead of the agency’s planned return to the Moon by 2024.
These new space outfits have an improvised range of motion and are one-size-fits-all.

That is unlike the existing suits which only absorbs the gas, which is poisonous in high quantities when in space.
The crew survival suit is designed to provide full life support for up to six days. This is neccessary if, for example, a meteorite punches a hole in the spacecraft’s hull.
Let’s hope that there will be more successful space missions after this!
