By now, every Malaysian knows that you CANNOT cross borders without a proper police permit, so how in the world did this couple get through the police blocks?
Needless to say, Malaysians were extremely annoyed by their actions.
Naeem Carpet only have 1 particular store, that is in Nilai. Neelofa and her so called “ustaz” husband broke the SOP again, it’s been 3 times within 2 months whereas some cant even go back hometown to see their sick parents. Well, Sunday is @neelofa day to create controversy. ? pic.twitter.com/r8XKU7uOZD

Tak. Cerita dia, Neelofa and PU Riz ni dok rentas negeri, langgar SOP la, lepas tu kena panggil bagi keterangan, kena soal siasat whatnot. Weiii. Tak malu tak segan ke wei asyik ada kontroversi je? Bawak image orang baik2 tapi diri sendiri mintak kena kecam. I cannot brain laa.

Berkali kali @Neelofa langgar SOP. Seharusnya dihukum penjara. Nampak sangat merendah-rendahkan institusi perundangan di negara kita @PDRMsia

Eagle-eyed netizens were the first to raise questions about the location of the outlet as it looked like a famour carpet shop located at the Nilai 3 Business Center.
“The parties involved will be called to IPD Nilai, Negeri Sembilan to give evidence in the near future and the investigation paper will be referred to the Deputy Public Prosecutor's Chambers after the investigation is completed.
“The Police would like to advise the public to continue to comply with the Conditional Movement Control Order (PKPB). Failure to comply with this order allows action to be taken under the provisions of the law that is still in force," said Supt Mohd Fazley in a statment.
The case will be investigated under Section 21A of the Prevention and Control of INfectious Diseases Act 1988 (342), Regulation 19 of the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases (Measures in Infectious Local Areas) (Conditional Movement Control) Regulations (No. .4) 2021, as well as Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998.
Neelofa and PU Riz were previously fined RM60,000 for violating COVID-19 SOPs during their extravagant wedding and travelling to Langkawi for a dubious "business trip" recently.
The duo spent weeks apologising for their actions, but if this latest trip to Nilai is true, it may have just been a lot of cakap kosong.
We say, if they did they crime, then they should do the time.
Do you agree?
