The new government has received tonnes of flak from Malaysians, no thanks to their recent boo-boos during the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, credit has to be given where it is due no matter how much we disagree or dislike a certain politician.

Federal Territories Minister Tan Sri Annuar Musa recently received praises from Malaysians for taking care of the homeless in Kuala Lumpur.

Caring for the needy

Annuar Musa and his ministry have provided temporary shelters for the homeless by turning six multipurpose or community halls in Kuala Lumpur into living quarters.

Among the reasons for doing so is to minimise their exposure to COVID-19.

Besides shelter, the state government also provides food, mattresses, blankets, clothing, cubicles, and even haircuts to the homeless.

The Ketereh MP was also very responsive to questions thrown at him on his Twitter.

Netizens were touched by the noble act and shared their thoughts via social media.

Good job, Annuar Musa! We hope other ministers and MPs will follow suit and help the homeless in their area.
