No Changes In RON95, Diesel Fuel Prices Until End Of The Year

You all can now 'fuel' happy.

If you're sick and tired of the whole 'is the fuel price going up or down this week?' thing previously, there's some good news for you.
Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng told Bernama that the government has no plans to raise fuel prices this year.
That means that RON95 petrol will remain unchanged at RM2.20 per litre and diesel at RM2.18 per litre until the end of the year.
Don't be doing this though.
The reason the government is able to do that, according to Guan Eng, is because they had allocated RM3bil in subsidies to ensure that the price for both RON95 and diesel fuels would not be floated in the market.
He assured that even if global fuel prices increase later on, the government was committed "to not raise prices".
As for RON97, Guan Eng told the news agency that the price would depend on market movements. RON97 is now priced at RM2.59 per litre.
