Nurses In Thailand Hospital Make Mini Face Shields For Babies To Protect From COVID-19
While the COVID-19 pandemic is rapidly spreading, countries across the globe are trying their best to protect its citizens as much they can.
And that includes newborns, but thankfully for them, a hospital in Thailand found an ingenious way to protect them from harm's way.
Cute little face shields
The Paolo Hospital in the Samut Prakan province of Thailand is taking no chances when it comes to newborns and the Coronavirus. So, they've decided to equip the little ones with little face shields.
Take a look:
"We have extra protection measures for little ones and friends, with face shield for newborns. So cute!".
"Congratulations to all mothers and dads,” said Paolo Hospital in Samut Prakan province of Thailand on their Facebook page.
The hospital told TIME that the idea came about when the nurses, who were preparing the babies to be discharged and taken home, heard the plights of mothers who had to take public transportation home.
The nurses then made the little face shields by hand because they worried about the well-being of the little ones.
“The face shields were just for a short-term protection,” the hospital said in a statement.
We hope that Malaysian hospitals would equip our little ones with these face shields too!
