“The one he wanted was twice the price” - M’sian Motorcycle Seller Rants About Ungrateful Customer’s Child
It really doesn't cost a penny to be respectful. In a recent incident, a Malaysian motorcycle seller went on a rant criticizing a customer's teenage child for being disrespectful toward his father.
In a video shared on TikTok, the seller, known as Nicholas, shared how he met a customer who wanted to buy a motorcycle as a surprise for his teenage son.
According to the father, his 17-year-old son had just gotten his license, and he wanted to purchase a motorcycle to ease his journey to school.

After scouring and deliberating, the father finally found a motorcycle, an Xtreme 150i, which he believed his son would like, and proceeded to make a full payment.
While conversing with the customer, Nicholas learned about the surprise and the father's anxiety that his son might not be interested in the motorcycle he had picked.
With that in mind, Nicholas advised the father to return with his son so the teen could learn more about the motorcycle before proceeding further.
Son throws a fit
As promised, the father returned to the shop, this time with his son.
Nicholas began briefing the teen about the specifications of the motorcycle his father had purchased, but the teen's reaction took him completely by surprise.
“The kid's face immediately turned sour, and he told his dad he didn’t want this motorcycle, he wanted a different one," explained Nicholas.

"I told him the motorcycle he wanted was twice the price of the one his dad had purchased. I think it cost about RM11,000 to RM12,000. So I said the motorcycle his dad bought was much cheaper and more suitable for a student like him," he shared.
"However, the teen started saying his friends had better motorcycles and complained that the one his dad bought was ugly.”
Gave the father a full refund
Seeing the teenager’s reaction, Nicholas quickly pulled the father aside and told him he would refund the money if his son truly disliked the motorcycle.
Nicholas was clearly enraged by the teen’s behavior and didn’t hold back when ranting about it online.
“I'm not angry because I couldn’t sell the motorcycle. I'm angry because the teen spoke like a brainless person. I told him, if you think you're so capable, go earn your own money and buy your own motorcycle. Don’t ask your family for money."

He added, "You're still studying, but your father worked so hard to save up and buy you a motorcycle, and you responded like this? You're way more fortunate than those who have to walk. What more do you want?!”
At the end of the video, Nicholas added that the teen should stop studying, considering how ungrateful he was and how he had disrespected his father in public.
Netizens joined in
In the comments section, many social media users voiced their support for Nicholas’s outrage.
“You're such a great seller, Nicholas. Well said. There are many children like that these days, too demanding. If you want a better motorcycle, go earn your own money. Don’t ask your parents.”

Another user commented, “I agree 100%. The younger generation today wants a luxurious life even before they start working. Later, when they do start working, they’ll always complain their pay isn’t enough. What’s going to happen if all youngsters are like this?”
