Our national stadium is now famous!

When you mention stadiums, a couple of famous ones usually come to mind: the Wembley Stadium, the Santiago Bernabeu and the Panathenaic Stadium.
Now, we can add our very own to the list.
Our national stadium, the Bukit Jalil National Stadium, has been voted as the Stadium of the Year at the just-concluded World Stadium Congress Awards 2018, which is kinda like the Oscars for stadiums.
KL Sports City announced the great news on their Facebook page on Friday:
According to KL Sports City, our national stadium faced off against the likes of Nouveau Stade de Bordeaux, Stade de France and U Arena -- all three stadiums are located in France, by the way -- to clinch the title.
Guess the underdog won in the end.
Officially opened in 1998, the 87,411-capacity Bukit Jalil National Stadium is one of the largest stadiums in the world (21st, to be exact).
It has previously hosted some of the world's greatest sporting events: the 16th Commonwealth Games back in 1998 and the recent 2017 Southeast Asian Games.
Not only that; the stadium also played host to some of the world's biggest music superstars such as Linkin Park, Usher and Kelly Clarkson.
So...can we host the World Cup now?
