The Swedish furniture company has recently issued an advisory urging customers in Malaysia to stop using the mug because it could be really harmful for your health.

Contains harmful chemicals

Ikea said in a statement released last week that the TROLIGTVIS travel mug contains "chemicals exceeding the prescribed limits".

The mug, marked “Made in India” and came in beige, green, pink and blue, was sold in Malaysia in August and October last year.

"Recent test reports showed that the product may migrate levels of chemicals exceeding the prescribed limits,”the press release read.

Ikea said customers who had bought the travel mug may return it to any Ikea store nationwide with a proof of purchase for a full refund.
