Not too long after opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim had a press conference explaining his audience with Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, the palace released a statement confirming that the meet happened.

That was not the weird part though.

In the statement, the palace said that Anwar only provided the King with the number of supporters backing him as Prime Minister and failed to provide any supporting documents

Huh?

According to the statemet, the King met with Anwar for about 25 minutes and during that time, Anwar had said that he had the support of a number of Members of Parliament but did not provide a list of names or any documents to support his claims.

"As such, Sultan Abdullah has advised Anwar to abide by and respect the due process of the law as prescribed by the Federal Constitution,” it said.

The people are not amused

After all the hoo-ha, you'd think that there will be bigger news to share but nope.
