When put in an uncomfortable situation, what do you do?

Most people complain and rant, but at the end of the day, nothing really changes.

Understanding this, four patients who noticed the unclean conditions at the bathrooms and toilets at the Likas COVID-19 low-risk quarantine centre decided to get up and do something about it.

Posting about it on Facebook, user Sim Fui 車寶山 Samson Liew shared that he was shocked to see how dirty the toilets were when he first arrived at the quarantine centre.

No one to clean

"No one was cleaning it and we felt like we should clean it ourselves.

"I also understand that the frontliners are busy and there are no cleaners. It's ok, you don't need to clean, we will do it ourselves.

Anyway, we are the ones using it so there is no difference. We hope that our small act will provide awareness to everyone to take care of cleanliness," he explained.

He also said that the reason for posting pictures of the conditions at the bathrooms and toilets was to let the authorities see for themselves how bad they were and improve on the conditions there.

The post eventually went viral with many commending the group for doing something positive when faced with such a circumstance.
