The footballer created history after his transfer made him the most expensive football player. He has signed a five-year contract with MU for £89 million (RM466.09 million). His predecessor, Gareth Bale was signed to Real Madrid for £85 million (RM445.14 million) back in 2013. This was the first time in 20 years an English club has paid a world-record fee since Alan Shearer’s move to Newcastle United from Blackburn Rovers for £15 million (RM78.55 million).

It seems that almost everyone is pleased with the transfer news especially the fans. Although some may be skeptical over the exorbitant amount spent on the French man, others appear to be looking forward to his appearance with MU. Will he be worth the £89 million (RM466.09 million) spent? Well, guess we’ll have to wait and see until the next season starts.
