Be honest, how many summonses have you been collecting over the past few years? Have you settled all of them?

If you answered no, then now is the best time to do so!

Discounts for summonses

According to The Star, Bukit Aman Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT) director Datuk Azisman Alias said that the police are offering a 50 per cent discount on all traffic summonses from 18 January to 1 February 2020.

On top of that, they’ve decided to introduce online payments this time around in order to encourage Malaysians to settle their summonses.

Yes, you do.
"But this time, I try to give special discount of 50 per cent. We never did online payment before which would not require people to queue for hours to pay,” Azisman said during a press conference.

"You can make payments online via MyEG and Rilek.com.my."

So, instead of making a bee line to the nearest police station, you can now settle your outstanding tickets from anywhere, at any time!

Remember to mark your calendars as such discounts only come once in a blue moon.
